Semester 2, 2025, is here, and so is O-day. We are opening our stall just like we did before. But this time, we will do it better, with more instrument on display, more Q&A, and more giveaways. Feel free to stop by for a free chat with our committee member, find out about our weekly activities, future events, and chances to perform. We cannot wait to see you there!  

Polish your instruments, musicians! Our club values your creativity and passion to music, your talent will not go unseen. Hence we are delighted to have you performing at our first Open Mic competition! Get yourself ready for the next big event of the year, our open-mic-style Music Competition!  This is your chance to show case your talents to your peers on an opened stage competition, with chances to win prizes, including our exlusive Merches, Medals, and many more!    Please follow through the event items listed below: - Event: Curtin Musicians Club Music Competition - Semester 1  - Date: Thursday, Week 7, 10/04/2025  - Time: 6 pm - 8 pm (update will take place on specific time - Performance registration method: Audition  - Instrument: Our club will provide a maximum of 2 guitar amps and 1 base amps per performance. We will also provide 1 drumset, 1 keyboard and 1 microphone. Any additional instrument will have to be self-prepared by you.   Audition must be submitted to our committee members before being able to take place at the competition night. Please regarding the following information: - Genre: Musical presentation and performance - Members (number of people) allowed per performance auditioned: unlimited - Performance length allowed: no more than 5 minutes, further consideration will take place - Audition submission opened: NOW - Audition submission closed: 06/04/2025   All Auditions are to be sent via email to curtinmusicians@gmail.com Audition submittion items: - First and Last name of ALL members who participate in your performance - Student ID of ALL members who participate in your performance - The performance genre (e.g. vocal, band, solo, duo, guitar solo, rock band, etc.) - An attached video file with clear audio AND videography of the intended performance, or a section of the intended performance (3 minutes) *Submission that does not include ANY of these item will NOT be considered*   We will send you any further update following any change that will take place as soon as possible. We are looking forward to seeing your audition, and your performance in week 7

We are doing a SAUSAGE SIZZLE on APRIL 10 - 11:30AM for 4 hours AT 106F   We are selling hotdogs for everyone HOWEVER (if you attend our club jam sessions before the big day) we will be giving out VOUCHERS for FREE HOTDOGS!!! Curtin Musician Club Orientation It is our very first club event of 2025. It is (bascially) a Jam night!.  We would love having our new members, as well as all that are interested to come along and join us on this very first event, where we will introduce to you our club purposes, our values, our commitee, and our running and up coming event. All of which will take... less than 10 minutes :)) This event is hosted so that students can have a safe and friendly place to play music together; and not only that, to make friends, share musics, tell stories, initiating jam ideas, and socialising.  Please feel free to bring your own musical instruments, amplifiers, and cables, or anything other equipment into the event as we are playng music together!. Besides, you can bring food, drinks, and anything else that make you feel like home, into the club orientation.      

YES! You will find us in O-day! O-day, the first big day of the academic year. our commitee members will be out on the campus, playing music, and are free to chat with you about up coming events, membership, socials, and any other query you may have!
